Gimbey is an accomplished singer, theatre artist, teacher, and entrepreneur.

She holds a degree in Music Education from the University of Santo Tomas and a degree in Musical Theater from Lasalle College of Arts in Singapore. She is a professor at Assumption College and runs a private practice that offers vocal lessons and musical theater workshops to performing enthusiasts and professionals of all ages. She is the founder of the ProD'G Collective and a member of the Theater Artists Guild, National Association for Teachers of Singing; and is currently the voice coordinator for Music Teachers Network Alliance Philippines, NCR.
Her Theater credits include: “Shiro and the Cherry Blossom”, “Working” (Singapore Premiere),
“Katy: the Musical,” “Rak of Aegis,” and “3 Stars and a Sun”.
She also worked as a voice coach for the following productions: “Rak of Aegis,” “3 Stars and a Sun”,
“Care Divas,” “Walang Aray,” and “Tabing Ilog.”
